When I first encountered this phrase, I thought to myself, I'm pretty sure it's not that bad to do small things. But after giving it more thought, it was clear that it is true. I began to question, How can one truly know if they are worthy, brave, bold, or challenged enough if one does not go big? "Go big or go home" is a phrase, in my opinion, that means to put your ultimate best out there and see the wonder you can do. Going big is not being boastful; it's proving to yourself that you can make even the biggest dreams you would not dare to say come to life. Why would you want anything other than the best attached to your name? You (whoever is reading this) and I are worthy & capable of so much more than we tell ourselves. Not going big is bad for our self-esteem; how can we have high self-esteem if we do not even take pride in what we do regularly? This can diminish how we feel about ourselves and how we see ourselves.

Yeah, maybe not today or tomorrow, or even next month, but down the line, not going big can impact how you become motivated, how we are creative, and a variety of other ways. Not only in our work should we go big but within ourselves and in our daily lives. Not going big is terrible for you; it keeps you at bay. A ship in harbor is safe — but that is not what ships are built for. Staying in a safe place will make you feel comfortable, but all you'll be left with is the feeling of wanting more, and why would you want to put yourself in a position like that. Not going big leads to second-guessing your choices and makes room for the thought of What if to linger in your mind. Not going big slowly but indeed lessens your confidence, your motivation, your creativity, so yes, not going big is bad for you. Always go big, even in the small areas of your life, always go big or go home! You may find yourself in an entirely different life that you either always wanted or never expected. Take chances, take risks, and put your best foot forward always.
