The Manual of Life

When you get a new car, they give you everything you need so you don't go back to the dealership with concerns or issues. you get the main and spare set of keys, drivers manual (even though majority of people don't read them), coverage for a specific time frame, and a courtesy check up during your first year of purchasing the car. By the time you leave the dealership you have everything you need as a driver and if questions or concerns do arise the employees are always there to help.
I used to think by the time you enter your twenties, in a sense you will be given the same manual or assistance when issues arise. 'The Manual of Life' but boy, was I more wrong. I wasn't even given a welcome package, its as if someone said figure it out until you get it right no matter how many tries it may take.
I don't know how many times I've had to figure it out, how many times I've had to plant my feet in ground and still find myself uprooted and fallen over. I bet we can all relate to this. But failure breeds success so eventually, all the hard work will lead to something to be proud of. There isn't a manual for life as much as we want one, it isn't sitting in a vault somewhere.

Life is what we make it and we can only make it a great one. From my understanding, life is not only about working and having a steady income. but appreciating the smaller things in life and being a helping hand to others in anyway that we can. We've all been there where our days don't make sense, everything is confusing, we feel lost and no sense of peace. But, then after a while and 10 deep breaths later we learn from the confusion and move forward trying a different plan of action. Its all about finding what works for you and what doesn't, once you figure that out, trial and error becomes easier and you get better at failing, because like I mentioned earlier failure breeds success.
After really thinking about this, I came to conclusion that we have been given a guide to life. We just haven't realized it. From early childhood to where we are now, we are given lessons to develop our character, situations that help us realize our likes and dislikes, and people that help us navigate through the thick and thin. So, in a sense we do have a manual of life, small lessons and interactions we learn along the way.
I choose to make the rest of my life the best of my life. - Louise Hay
