Usually, when change occurs, I’m already knee-deep inside that I don’t know when or how it began. All I know is that I’m here and I need to find my way through. But, it was during this week where I was able to see the sign for Change and finally know how to navigate. This time around I see it, I feel it, and I’m aware that a chapter has ended and a new one is being written.
If this summer has taught me anything, it’s to trust yourself enough to know that you are able to do what’s best for you, or at least do what needs to be done to bring joy and a sense of tranquility in your life. In most scenarios, when we enter a new phase in our life where one chapter closes and another opens we find it hard to trust ourselves and God because this is new and never yet done. This is why I think learning to trust yourself and all your abilities no matter what new phase you enter are so important. I get it, it will be difficult but the payoff will be worth so much more.

Change sometimes gets a bad reputation because it’s different and unknown, and most likely to be bad than good. Though these thoughts about change are true that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t follow through, because we never know where the path may take us. Whether we admit it or not going through with change and new phases is beneficial because we are provided with different pieces of ourselves that make up a whole picture. There important and needed on the journey of life.
"With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts."
- ELEANOR ROOSEVELT
What I’ve learned so far about life is, wasting time on fear and other negative feelings and thoughts only takes time away from feeling and living in the positive.
